What areas do you cover?
We keep our routes tight and service residential driveways within about 4 miles of our base in East Glenville, including East Glenville, Alplaus, High Mills, Scotia, Burnt Hills, Rexford and southern Charlton. How much snow has to fall before you come out?
We clear your driveway whenever 2 inches or more of snow has accumulated.
Is there a limit to how many times you'll clear my driveway?
No. There's no limit on visits and no seasonal snowfall cap. It doesn't matter if it snows 5 times or 50 times.
What months do you provide snowblowing service?
Our seasonal service runs from November 15 to April 15.
Will my driveway be cleared before 7 AM?
With our storm response system, you will always be able to exit your driveway.
How much does snow removal cost?
Pricing is based on the square footage of your driveway. Contact us for a free estimate and we'll give you one fixed price for the whole season.
When are payments due?
The first payment is due by November 1 and the second payment is due by January 1.
Do you clean right up to my garage door?
We try to get as close as possible, and this varies with the skill of our operators. On average we stay about 1 foot away from garage doors and buildings, and about 2 feet away from vehicles parked in driveways.
Can I leave cars parked on my driveway?
Yes. Our operators will remove as much snow as possible while avoiding the vehicles. If you expect to have a car on your driveway during a storm, we recommend parking it as far to the top or to the side of the driveway as possible.
Do you mark my driveway?
Yes. We mark the sides of your driveway with several snow stakes so our tractor operators don't drive on your lawn, and we take the stakes down after the season is over.
Will your equipment damage my driveway or lawn?
No. The tractor and blower will not crack your asphalt or concrete. Although they look large, their weight is spread over the extra-large surface area of the tires, so your car puts more weight per square inch on your driveway than our machines do. Our operators are trained to lower the blowers in a controlled manner to avoid jolts to the asphalt, and the markers we install around your driveway keep our operators off your grass.
What if the town plow blocks my driveway after you've cleared it?
Contact us and we'll make a return visit to clear your driveway at no additional charge.
Do you offer snow shoveling?
Yes. If requested, we'll shovel a path from your driveway to your front door for an additional charge.
Can you snowblow a gravel driveway?
No, we can't snowblow gravel driveways.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry enough liability insurance to cover all aspects of our business.
How should I prepare my driveway for the season?
Remove all summer items from the driveway, such as flower pots and planters, downspout extensions, recycling bins, garbage cans, basketball hoops, children's toys and extension cords, so our tractors don't come into contact with them. We are not responsible for damage to items left on the driveway.
What is your repair policy?
Our operators are required to report any damage caused to your property. We'll repair it after the snow event is over, or in the spring if it has to wait until then.
Are your tractors loud?
No. Chances are you won't even know we're there.
